I am always at a loss as to why people who dress up according to the sub-culture are called "Goths". It's not as if the peoples who spread themselves across Europe and invaded Rome looked like your typical modern day "Goth". Anybody?
 

Modern goths got the name from the gothic novel genre. The gothic novel got its name from gothic architecture and art. And, when applied to art, "the term Gothic was originally intended as a stylistic insult since Gothic equated with 'barbarian' (ie. uncivilized), but the term has since matured to a neutral description." people i know who are depressed try to dress up in color because they're tryin to cover up their sadness
the first acid trip i ever had i ended up in a goth club.... i've never forgivin those white faced bastards!!!
